EyeTV Wonder - TV for your USB 2.0 Mac

Elgato Systems recently announced the EyeTV Wonder USB 2.0 for Macintosh. This little device gives you live TV on your Mac! You can also use their software to record programs to your hard drive, and you can pause, fast-forward, and rewind on the fly while doing so (kinda like a ReplayTV or Tivo, huh?).

The EyeTV Wonder contains a cable-ready, 125-channel analog tuner, and sends an uncompressed digital video stream to your Mac.

More cool features:
  • Encodes video in either MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 format
  • Integrates seamlessly with Toast 6 to allow you to burn programs to DVD
  • Built-in editor for removing unwanted segments of a program
  • Programming guide allows you to search for programming and setup your EyeTV in advance for recording shows
  • Export to iMovie, iDVD
The EyeTV Wonder will begin shipping on February 18th, and sells for $149.

If you want High-Definition TV capability, try its big brother: the EyeTV 500.
