Tray Table Laptop Stand

I just returned from a business trip to Michigan. I knew that my best bet for surviving the four hours in economy seating was my PowerBook, and the episodes of "24" waiting for me on its hard drive.

I had barely shoved my Timbuk2 bag under the seat when the very large passenger destined to ruin my flight sat down in front of me. I thought he had reclined the seat when it slammed into my knees, but it turned out he just caused the whole thing to bend backwards. Once we took off, THEN he reclined the seat, and left it that way the entire flight. Even though I have a tiny 12-inch PowerBook, there was not enough room to open it on the tray table and keep the lid open. I ended up holding it in my lap, with the keyboard pitched up in the air while I looked down at the display.

If only I had seen this cool little item before my flight! The Aviator Laptop Stand seems to be the perfect solution to this recurring problem. It puts your keyboard at a better angle for typing, and allows you to angle your screen better for viewing. It also breaks down to take up very little room in your laptop bag.

For just $19.99, it looks like a deal to me.
