Create your own RSS Feeds

If you have a pre-blog era website which features frequently updated content, RSS Writer can help you create an RSS feed for your site.

This simple and free little application provides you with an easy-to-use interface for entering article info and producing an XML file you can post as an RSS feed. It lets you define default values to speed up frequent entries, and keeps previous entries around as long as you wish.

The output is well-formed XML, although they do not identify which version of RSS the output complies with (I am not familiar with the differences between various revisions of the RSS spec, so I can't clue you in by reading it, either).

It's free, and you get your money's worth on the documentation: there isn't any. Fortunately, Mac Games and More has published their own RSS Writer missing manual! I was able to figure out the app and generate an RSS file without their help, but it is a great little tutorial that takes you through everything.
